If only Rep. Hunter had enough voters with the same backbone as he has to put him in office, there would still be hope for this country. Let's create enough buzz to out-do the media's filtered reporting and get the word out about his stellar conservative track record.

Polls unfortunately start too early--before all the candidates have a chance to get their neames--let alone their positions on the issues--out in front of the poll respondents, with the result that people fall back on names they've heard before--and all of a sudden you have "frontrunners" who have higher "electability," and then the stampede of the sheep starts, where everybody tries to guess whom everyone else will consider electable. In the process very few people vote their honest choice.

The sad thing in this race is that so far the prominent evangelical and conservative spokespeople seem to have fallen into that same trap, and hardly any have backed Rep. Hunter who is the OBVIOUS match to their ideal positions on all the issues.

May God bless him and his campaign!

Amen. As an Iowan, I do not believe his comments on state and its people are out of place at all.

Please research all the candidates, their voting records, and also check out http://www.factcheck.org to see if they are honest. If you want a solid conservative candidate, Duncan Hunter is your man, and he becomes more attractive as you research each of the presidential candidates. He is a man of principle and integreity and of wisdom.
