GOP Presidential Prospects

GOP Presidential Prospects
The current field of candidates for the GOP Presidential nomination is amusing at best. We have a liberal (Giuliani) who has long been the front runner, a bunch of candidates who are Conservative one week and liberal the next, and a few true Conservatives. Huckabee and Thompson qualify as Conservatives but I think Hunter is the most conservative of the group. Is it not interesting that the one true “Reagan like” Conservative is so purposely ignored by the media??????
I could see Ron Paul choosing Dennis Kucinich as his running mate if he got the nomination. They could sit in the Oval Office and discuss UFO’s and how the US Government pulled off the 9/11 attacks. What a conversation that would be.
Romney is packaging himself as a Conservative to try and get the nomination as a Republican. I read an interesting article that summed up my thoughts on him. It can be found at: http://www.townhall.com/columnists/GreggJackson/2007/11/09/romney_secrets_the_media_are_hiding_from_you
McCain is……….well………McCain.
I would like to see someone who is unashamedly a Christian Conservative leader with an unwavering record on the “Conservative Issues” such as National Security, Family, Marriage, Abortion, Taxes and the Economy. The only candidate that truly fits that bill so far is Duncan Hunter. I guess that is why he is being purposely ignored in the sorry excuse for media that is out there while their liberal candidates are being promoted.
It is going to get very interesting between now and the elections. Especially by the somewhat vicious attacks the liberals are making on their own candidates. Do I detect some disgruntled donkeys out there?
